• Visual Data (CV Inputs): Images or video feeds uploaded to our Service. Our Computer Vision (CV) models analyze these images solely to automatically populate inspection forms based on your specific configuration.

• Technical Usage Data: Information regarding your interactions with our software, including device identifiers, IP addresses, and system performance logs, which are used to maintain system stability and security.

2. Data Hosting and Infrastructure

We utilize Amazon Web Services ("AWS") to host our core application, databases, and related services. We utilize Modal to deploy, host, and serve our machine learning and computer vision models.

• Data Residency: Your data is stored and processed within secured cloud infrastructure operated by our service providers. We utilize AWS regional infrastructure and other appropriate cloud resources to support the reliability, availability, and performance of our services.

• CV Model Hosting and Processing: Our computer vision and machine learning models are deployed and served through Modal, a cloud infrastructure platform designed for running and scaling machine learning workloads. When you use features that require computer vision or machine learning processing, relevant data, including images and information necessary to perform the requested processing, may be transmitted to and processed within our Modal-hosted computing environment.

• Data Security: We use industry-standard security measures across our AWS and Modal infrastructure to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures may include encryption of data in transit and at rest, access controls, authentication mechanisms, and other technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information being processed.

• Infrastructure Responsibility: AWS and Modal provide underlying cloud infrastructure and computing services, but The Inspection Assistant LLC remains responsible for the configuration of our applications, access controls, model deployments, and security policies applicable to our environments. We maintain control over how information is collected, transmitted, processed, and used within our services.

• Limited Processing: Data transmitted to our machine learning and computer vision infrastructure is processed only as necessary to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the functionality of The Inspection Assistant. We do not sell user data or use customer inspection data for unrelated commercial purposes.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide the Service: Power the core functionality of our software, including CV-based automation.

• System Integrity: Monitor and improve the performance and security of our hosted infrastructure.

• Account Management: Verify credentials and provide customer support.

• Legal Compliance: Comply with applicable laws, regulations, or legal processes.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your data. Your data remains your property, and The Inspection Assistant LLC does not sell, rent, or otherwise provide your information to third parties for their own independent marketing purposes. • Infrastructure and Service Providers: We use trusted third-party service providers, including Amazon Web Services ("AWS") and Modal, to provide cloud hosting, computing, machine learning, computer vision, database, and related infrastructure necessary to operate our services. These providers may process information on our behalf as necessary to provide their services to The Inspection Assistant LLC and are subject to applicable contractual and security obligations.

• Machine Learning and Computer Vision Processing: When you use features that require machine learning or computer vision processing, information necessary to perform that processing may be transmitted to our Modal-hosted infrastructure. Such processing is performed on our behalf to provide the requested functionality and is not intended to give the infrastructure provider ownership of your data.

• Legal Requirements: We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, subpoena, court order, or valid governmental request, or when disclosure is otherwise legally required or permitted.

• Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, financing, sale of substantially all of our assets, or similar business transaction, information associated with our services may be transferred to the relevant successor or acquiring entity. Any such transfer will remain subject to applicable legal requirements and, where applicable, the protections described in this Privacy Policy.

• Protection of Rights and Security: We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to enforce our Terms and Conditions, protect the rights, property, or safety of The Inspection Assistant LLC, our users, or others, investigate suspected fraud or abuse, or address security or technical issues affecting our services.
